Self-loathing or eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and overeating are plagues of individuals with low self-esteem.

If you're under pressure to measure up to current beauty standards call a halt and stop the burden of toeing the line. Stop hating your body it's yours so love it no 'body' is a perfect specimen.

You'll learn that everyone has some sort of physical imperfection so forgive yourself.

Live Authentically: Actually, you do not have to emulate the media hype expressions of what you should wear or look like or what beauty is. You need to live a life more in tune with your true self and ignore such beauty opinions.

It's important to keep your self-esteem firmly rooted. Do not let the ideals of the beauty and fashion pundits tear down your self-image or damage your self-esteem. Media hype continually presents their narrow concepts of beauty.

So, if you're feeling an assault on your looks and self-esteem its time to begin the process of repair. Entertain and embrace your own beliefs and viewpoints about beauty and what is beautiful

Media Skews Reality: Magazines of fashion and beauty can be a source of psychological assault on your contentment with self-image. Discontent with how you look can take hold deeply when reading or consuming the printed or spoken words of the beauty and fashion pundits.

It not too early to start your healing by keeping such published magazines out of sight. Shun them especially if you feel or they make you feel that you do not measure up to the stated ideal.

Similarly, the TV commercials can engender feelings of inadequacy and may even make you feel worse about yourself.

The constant bombardment with all the images of a head to toe perfect, undersized, artificial models can be a downside. The ramification is that you feel podgy and unappealing.

Change Networks: Simply watch public broadcasting stations that do not force advertisements into your living room or into your face. Besides, the quality of programming is way above the regular commercial TV.

However, if you still adore or cant dump commercial TV stations you can be more selective in your viewing and weed out those commercials. Don't let the beauty media beat up on your looks or self-esteem.You have the power of change with the remote in your hands.

Body Imperfections: No one is physically perfect, we all have spots and marks that we're unhappy about and wish it could be different. But, that's how we're made. Each one is unique so don't try to be like everyone else.

Regardless of perceived flaws or imperfections, you're the only one to decide whether to change your perception of self or your appearance. The determination of change does not belong to anyone else.

Neither should you waste your precious time or money worrying about other people's beauty discourse and interpretations. Don't  be preoccupied with negative critiques or comments that may have come your way.

Admire Self: Love your body, love your physique and all that you are it's yours to enjoy and to take care of. So, take pleasure in your appearance and don't be ashamed of your figure or silhouette. Look at and accept your shape or your looks as they are endowed.

Just realize and acknowledge that youre not a 'runway model' and you don't have to be one.

Love Your Looks: No doubt you want to look your best. So eat right, exercise, be fit, stay healthy and strong also be adaptable and flexible. You're more than your looks a great personality matters

Just remember that inner and natural beauty is definitely not the hype of the so-called beauty experts. It's up to you to alleviate feelings of dissatisfaction or unhappiness with your perceived unattractiveness or lack of appeal. Stop comparing yourself to others.
